Ana and List,
A PDF will open in either IE or FF using a plug-in so you are still in the
browser. All you need to do is hit Alt + D to get to the address bar. This
will get you the link.

Thanks much-much. After reading your messages, I figured out that I wasn't
getting anything helpful from the properties dialog because I had arrowed to
the link, rather than tabbing to it. So problem solved.
Is there a way to get the URL once the file has been opened? I ask this
because I sometimes spend so much time searching for something that I have
no clear memory of how I actually found it, and the obvious doesn't always
bring it back up.
