Delete temporary Internet files, and clear history.  make sure that the .asx 
file type is selected for, and associated with Windows Media Player.  It 
might have been helpful to know what the error reported is.

HI.
now for some stupid reason cannot play .asx from streams for radio stations.
had this problem on my toshiba a300 satellite psa g4a machine.
can play mp3s. but not .asx files.
gets a error all the time.
so how to fix this.
uninstall windows media player or download some codex. using windows vista
home premium.
jaws 10, internet explorer 7.
any help would be fine if you have run into this problem before and this is
the only media player.
