Hello All:
I'm wondering if anyone has successfully installed JAWS Version 9 on an
HP Pavillion Model 750 Desktop computer running Windows XP Home? I have
a client who got one of these computers second hand. When she went to
install JAWS on it, she got the message that she needed to install the
JAWS Video Intercept. However, Video Intercept will not install.
She's talked with Freedom Scientific and been told that she needs
updated video card drivers. However, under Device Manager on the
machine, there is no entry for Display Adapters leading her to believe
that the Video is integrated into the Mother Board of the computer.
So, has anyone gotten JAWS 9 to install and run properly on a Pavillion
with a configuration like this? If so, please let me know what you did.
I suggested to my client that she go to Windows Update and install the
optional hardware updates to see if this helps fix the problem.
Thanks,
