the coax is called LMR400.
one of the lowest loss 50ohm coax cables for VHF and UHF 
frequencies...though not the lowest loss of course.
hopefully the duplexer and antennas use N connecters as they are also the 
best type of connecters to use at VHF and UHF frequencies to minimize loss.
the "egg beater" antennas look like an egg beater, essentially multiple 
folded dipole style antennas, such as those used for repeaters...they offer 
a wide view of the sky and horizon, and are the next best thing to a 
directional array with elevation and sat tracking rotator.
