Still need that tuner too, so may have to do some negotiating with Santa or
whomever.
As you know, my antenna situation is very limited here, and I'm just trying
to get the maximum potential out of that DXCC.

Sure, no problem. And of course there are guys on this list who were
tuning amps when I was in kindergarten. Also, depending on what amp you wind
up with, you should fine someone here who has experience with that
particular model. I currently have in the shack an Ameritron AL-80B with
single 3-500z tube and a THP solid state.
