Jim,
I think most hams have had one up at one time in their lives. Had one up
here about 20 years ago and liked it a lot. Be aware that you will need a
tuner on all bands with the possible exception of 20 meters, and 20 may
depend on your particular installation. There are a number of formulas out
there to build your own, and many others pre made. Some follow Mr. G5RV's
design more closely than others.
