What version of JAWS are you using? I believe starting with 8.0, they have
a spell alpha numeric setting so that Ham calls and license and serial
numbers are read in a spelling form.

1. Press insert + F2 to bring up the managers list.
2. Press c for the configuration manager.
3. when it loads, if you want the setting globally, press control + shift +
D to bring up the default configuration file.
4. Press alt + S followed by t (settings/text processing item.)
5. tab 9 times (if I counted correctly) to the spell alpha numeric
expressions item.
6. By default this item is off.
7. move the cursor to the spell (2 of 3) or the spell phonetically (3 of 3)
item. The choice is yours.
8. Press enter to close the dialogue.
9. Press control + S to save the setting.
10. Press alt + F4 to exit the configuration manager.

Hi Mark,
I have tried to follow your instructions and your call is still done
incorrectly. I wonder what I am doing wrong?
