Hi Danny,
I never thought of this.

I already have the John Hanson keypad programmed for 9600 baud. I'd have to 
change it from a Yaesu radio to an Icom.

For a voice recorder I can bring along my Victor Reader Stream and place it 
in note taking mode.

Never thought of that until you made your suggestion.
