e-ham has a number of reviews on the hq100. Average cost $160 in working
condition.
It looks to be the general coverage version of the hq110.
5-00 KHZ to 30 MHZ. BFO, q=-multiplier, and clock. the Hw100 by Heath is
the early version of the HW101 tranceiver. If my memory is good, which is
always in question; the HW101 is more stable and has better transmit audio.
I'd skip the 100 and look for a 101. They are quite common. I think it's
around 100 watts out with 2 6146 finals. Power supply is separate.
