That depends on if that band is active near you. Remember generally 1.2 gig 
equipment is extremely expensive, and knowing what it takes to get on 900 
MHz, I'd say 1.2 gig probably needs better coax, or more likely hard line to 
get a signal out so it's not a cheap band to get on. I didn't bother because 
there's no activity anywhere near me on that band. Seeing what 900 MHz has 
cost me and how that's grown in Massachusetts, CA and a couple other states 
lately due to the very cheap cost, I think it was a great decision. I would 
say base it on what there is around you for activity though, also there is a 
little satellite activity on 1.2 gig I believe so you might consider that, 
but again, you probably need some pretty good hard line considering LMR400 
at 900 MHz will cost you about half your power at 100 feet, 1.2 is probably 
even worse.
