Hi Steve and all.

Thanks for the information.  I interpreted the main receiver to be able to
receive in the weather band.  Oh well, I'll live with it.  All of the stuff
I have in memories now is in the ham 2 meter band.

As for receiving an AM broadcast, I plan on trying it without the external
antenna tuner in line.  The folks at Ham Radio Outlet installed the speech
synthesizer and digital recorder for me.  Maybe something got hit in the
process.
