You might also want to call the town hall or county office building or 
chamber of commerce to see if there are any local ride share programs, or 
something similar.  Also check with your local dirrectory assistance to see 
if there's any ride share or something similar in that area.
State or regional commissions for the blind or whatever they're called where 
you are, may also have some info re your local area, although that's a long 
shot that you've probably already tried.  Danny.
