I hope they're not one of those companies that claim they offer unlimited
minutes and then there's a fine print and there a minute cap. I tend to not
support companies that do that because it's misrepresentation. For instants
our Sprint Canada at one point offered unlimited calling nationwide but they
were hustling costumers for their usage. They were always trouble and it
stopped after Rogers bought them out. I'm with Rogers now and so far so
good. It's been a few years. Hell they say that the air we breathe might be
a product of Rogers those guys are buying out everything. See people allow
these other little companies to B.S. around and make false claims and as
long as people allow it to happen, they get away with it. If enough people
suddenly stopped supporting them because of their misrepresentation, they'd
probably change really fast. Anyone that claims their selling unlimited
minutes shouldn't be any need for further discussion, to my way of thinking.

Subject: Off Topic: Magic Jack Reports

Thus far, calling overseas, within the U S, and locally, all has gone =
well. A couple of times while talking long distance for two hours =
straight, it has dumped me and I have had to redial but I have had that =
with long distance overseas services, too. However, I have had one =
report that some saying they do have a limit, I have seen this at =
normally 5,000 minutes, and then you can only receive calls until the =
next month. Of course, 5,000 is a lot of minutes to me but I was =
wondering if anybody using the magic jack has heard this or knows about =
it. I've read loads of info off the web and the magic sight itself and =
have not found anything that talks about this. I would think they would =
be hard put to cut your 9 11 service off but then what do I know. I am =
cross posting this on blind-hams and blindad since the conversation and =
users of the unit commented from both places the last time.

Phil.
