Christina Tennyson, MD, gastroenterologist
with the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University
Please join us for what promises to be an exciting and educational program. Christina Tennyson, MD will be our featured speaker for a full medical update on celiac disease. Dr. Tennyson is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, working at the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University. Her interests include disease of the small intestine, specifically celiac disease, nutrition, capsule endoscopy, and enteroscopy. She currently cares for patients, conducts clinical research, and teaches medical students, residents, and fellows and works closely with Dr. Peter Green.
Dr. Tennyson attended medical school at New York University and performed internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Tennyson will be presenting an update on celiac disease. This includes recent information on:
- What is happening in diagnosis, treatment and research.
- An exploration of vitamin and minerals and how deficiencies in the diet affect those with CD.
- How to deal with nutritional deficiencies.
- Staying healthy with CD and other related conditions.
She will also be answering your questions.
