Did you happen to change com ports or move the serial cable to an usb port
with a serial to usb adaptor?

You can go to the com port pull down option and try to select the com 1
again and see if works or fixes the problem or try another port to see if
fixes your problem.

Also check under the device manager on your computer through system to make
sure the com ports are enabled still.

hi All, I have an icom ict90a, the serial cloning cable, and the cloning 
software. it used to work, but suddenly when I try to run the software, I 
get the message "can't find com1. does any one know how to fix this problem?
