I found a generic power cord at a hamfest for $12 and, it was every bit =
as good as the ICOM and the KENWOOD.

  IF you don't find one, personally, I like the icom power cords a lot =
better=20
  than the Kenwood ones. I use the Kenwood cords with the 570 and =
TS-2000=20
  because they're there, but I keep a couple icom cords around here in =
case I=20
  want to take one of those radios out somewhere, not that my TS-2000 is =

  moving from where it is until I replace it or move out, but the 570, =
if I=20
  don't end up selling it, will be available field day, and I'll use an =
icom=20
  power cord then because I like them better. It goes from the 4 wires =
to 2=20
  right away and the 2 wires are run together with the kind of fuse =
holders=20
  you find on 2 meter radios and the like. It could be just me but I =
think=20
  those end up running a lot neater but I've heard complaints about =
those fuse=20
  holders over time too.
