We Canadians can attest that tactile markings do not work, as they rub down
far too quickly.

While I think what the Bureau did was a very good thing in spirit, they
should have worked to make it a bit less exclusive. As has been stated here,
some people don't choose to use an iPhone, and I'm one of them. Right now
the iBill is still out there, and that is a pretty cost-effective way to
identify currency. I just hope it stays available.
