Hi friends!
I am in the process of purchasing any o e m flavour of windows7 and
still have windows xp here.
My first question is can I upgrade directly from xp to 7 or must I have
vista installed in order to upgrade? When I say upgrade I mean listen
to the installation instructions with any running screen reader until
the next boot process in 7.
My second question is about the unattended method of installation for
windows7, where can I find the full instructions for accomplishing such
a task? In xp I dumped the winnt.sif file that included my instructions
in the i386 folder, I heard once somebody talking about something
called waik but I don't recall anything more.
Finally, if I make an ordinary installation, can I press start+u and
launch narrator during installation supposing a usb
headset/loudspeakers are available? Or when can I do that start+u then
alt+n command?
Maybe these questions were posed before but I wasn't documenting
properly. I want my unattended/interactive installation to wipe out the
hard drive, repartition it to one drive and format in n t f s. Any help
is appreciated, thanks.
