Subject: [VICUG-L] MS Word to LaTex: Any accessible solutions?

Hi folks,

Does anybody know of any accessible application / plug-in that will convert
a Microsoft Word document including equations into LaTex and,, if possible,
in the opposite direction?

The challenge I'm facing is that I need to come up with a solution for
handling teachers' hand-outs for Math written in MS Word. And, as you
probably know, the equation editor's symbols are not readable using a screen
reader. So, any thoughts or suggestions from this list would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Daniel Gartmann
