Hello Marvin and others interested in this thread:
Remember:
Ripping is pulling the music off the CD and copy it to your computer's hard
drive. You choose file format such as MP3 before you rip to the hard drive.
Burning the CD is writing the copied files to a blank CD. A laser is used in
the optical CD drive to burn the files onto the CD.
What you are going to need is a tutorial and some study time.
Below is one tutorial I found for you online at:
http://mp3.about.com/od/windowsmediaplayer/ss/WMP_ripcd_tut.htm#
Can you play the CD you burn on your ghetto blaster?
Well that depends on how old it is and what format the files are in. Most
new players can handle the latest formats, MP3 or what ever you got. They
want play a WMP (Windows Media Player) format. So if your player is say more
then eitht years old it gets kind of chancy.
Have you thought about ditching the CD altogether and moving to a MP3
player This way you could move the MP3 files to a flash card like the VR
Stream?
Below is a link for hot keys used in WMP.
