If the items in your bulleted list are one line long, using Jaws is a good
solution.
If the bulleted items are over one line in length, however, it's best to use
the Word feature. In addition to putting a bullet at the beginning of the
line, word lines the bullets up slightly in from the left margin, and
indents subsequent lines of text within a single item. That makes the list
stand out visually and gives it a tidier appearance.
also, if you have anything important in the clipboard, you don't want to use
the ins+4 feature because Jaws clears the clipboard in order to paste the
special character.

If you're using JAWS, you can press "insert 4" (4 on the number row), and
arrow down through the list of symbols until you hear "large bullet",
followed by "small bullet". . Enter on the one that seems most appropriate.
