JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines eligibility/ineligibility for vocational rehabilitation services. Develops and implements individualized program of rehabilitation services for blind and visually impaired consumers in a multi-county district with the goal being successful rehabilitation and job placement into gainful employment.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.
Additional Requirements: A master's degree in rehabilitation counseling.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Must have above average knowledge of state and federal VR laws and regulations. Daily travel up to three days per week and occasional overnight required.
Must be able to work one-on-one and in groups in a professional counseling/guidance format. Will be responsible for meeting all designated quality and productivity standards in a quality manner with minimal supervision
