I have the older Ipod Shuffle and it has no display. It can be treated like a thumb drive and plays mp3 format also. I had to use a small program to rebuild the shuffle database after adding and deleting files.

Subject: OT, HOW ACCESSIBLE IS AN IPOD!!!
Hi Everyone;
If any of the list moderators want to delete this message, that's fine.
I want to purchase an IPod and I'd like to find someone who uses one with speech so I can see how accessible it is.
I downloaded some music from the ITunes store and, I am unable to convert it from the m4a format.
Please respond privately.
To any of the moderators who allowed me to post this message, I thank you.
And, thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail.
Respectfully Yours
Anthony
