The one problem I've encountered since going paleo and on other low
carb plans is troubled sleep. If don't get at least a 120 - 150 grams
of carbs a day I have trouble sleeping. Very unrestful sleep. I wake
up with the bed sheets on the floor. Does this subside if I keep
carbs low for a while?
On the other hand if I were to go to an Italian restaurant for lunch
and load up on grain based carbs, I would come home and fall asleep
and when I did wake-up I'd be groggy and tired the rest of the day.
For me carbs works better than Ambien, Lunesta, or perhaps even valium.
