Below is a summary of recommendations for a Palo Alto Celiac Doctor:
Do you go to the Palo Alto Medical Clinic? There is none better than Gail
Pyle. She has CD.Used to be at Stanford as a GE but now is in Internal
Medicine. She's really nice, compassionate and it would be hard to find a
better doctor.
UCSF has a Celiac clinic....maybe not called that, but there is a unit with
Celiac specialists.
Stanford University Hospital may still also have a celiac unit. They did a
few years ago, anyway.
The Bay Area is one of the best-served areas in the nation in terms of
medical facilities. If no one replies with a specific doctor, I am sure that
with a little web searching you will find what you need.
The Stanford Clinics has a celiac sub-specialty dept. in the
gastroenterology clinic. The lady physician is a celiac, and the male
physician is world renowned as a gastro. If you were diagnosed by biopsy,
you can see the female. I met them at a Stanford educational day. They are
very knowledgeable.
