Mainframe Developer with Cobol
Job skills and requirements:
Specific requirements are:
- Technical:
o COBOL and DB2 programming experience to enable analysis of code written
by others -
o Strong REXX and/or CLIST experience to automate job processing – A Plus
o Experience with mainframe-based software configuration management
systems such as ENDEVOR – Highly Desired
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel – Required
o DB2/SQL experience – Required
Ability to read Braille
Will work directly with clients to make their business applications compliant
with Section 508 law and provide services in connection with the development
and implementation of technology solutions.
General:
o Detail oriented and committed to consistently completing repetitive
production-like tasks on-time and error-free - CRITICAL
o Excellent customer relations skills – Required
o Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to
changes in customer requirements - Required
