You could try the following, which really ought to work:

On the Web page, enter JAWS (verbosity) Options - JAWSkey-v.
Now, arrow down to Virtual cursor Options. (If they are not opened, hit
right-arrow to open.)

Down-arrow once, and on that option press the spacebar. You have now
changed the copy content to be 'from virtual cursor', instead of full screen
content. Escape.

-- Select All, with ctrl-a; then press shift-JAWSkey-DownArrow to Read
Selected Text.

If jaws SAYS 'NOTHING SELECTED',
GO TO THE TOP OF THE ARTICLE AND THEN PRESS CTRL-SHIFT-END, AND AGAIN PRESS
CTRL-jawsKey-DownArrow to Read Selected Text.

-- Copy to clipboard, alt-tab to Word, and paste.

Subject: [VICUG-L] still can't copy to clipboard and paste in!

Hi all,
Harry here.
I'm using a gateway laptop, running windows xp home edition and jfw 10.0.
I'm trying to copy an article from the web to ms word.
I am using IE 7.
I go to the article on the web then select all with control a then hit
control c to copy the article to the clipboard, then close IE then open
word, then hit control v and it doesn't paste in.
I tried another suggestion which was to press control a to select all, then
hit alt e for edit, then down arrow to copy and hit enter, then open word
and paste it in, and it's still not there.
Now here's the weird part. I can copy text and paste text in within a
document in word, like a test page, if I write, this is a test".
What is going on here? If I don't have my clipboard, I'm ruined as far as
computing is concerned.
Harry
