Excerpted from last Thursday's Top Tech Tidbits:
4) Our nearly weekly raid of information from Fred's Head Companion yields a
site where each day, software developers offer a free full version of their
program, downloadable only during that day.
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/
-- Today's offering, the program PDFZilla, might be handy, but is *not*
accessible!
One can also read user comments about the program on the day, on the site.

Importantly, you also must install the give-away software on the same day
you download it, - as set forth in the accompanying readme.txt file in the
downloaded .zip - if you want to take advantage of the conditional offer of
it for free.

Subject: [VICUG-L] FW: ATI Free Licensed Software
_____
Here is a web site that you can go to and download free licensed software.
This is a daily give away and you can only download the software application
being offered for that day. They guarantee the software to be spam free.
You can also subscribe to a daily email notice of the software they are
giving away. It does use the capture verification, but they do offer an
audio link to the visual numbers displayed. The audio is very easy to
understand and I had no problem subscribing.
Here is the link for the web page:
