How can we be sure that it's not blatant discrimination and instead of being
financially based? In both the Australian and the Canadian cases, the
families were of middle eastern or near Asian descent...
Janet and I "ran the numbers" on McCain's health care plan this weekend, and
realized it would mean an approximate $2500 tax increase for us. UW
contributes $7500 per year for our health insurance, and McCains tax credit
for a family is $5000. It'd be worse if we had kids. This would also
involve increasing our deductible fro $350.00 each to $1500.00 each.
