Might be time to try another brand or something. If there was something in
the wiring in the apartment it would bother more than the phones I'd say but
back when we had a house phone, we never did have luck with any cordless
phones for more than a year or so except one uniden. Beyond that, I can't
even begin to tell you how many cordless phones we went through over the
years starting way back with the old 49 MHz ones in the mid to late 80s, I'm
recalling having at least15 of them until we got rid of the house phone, or
stopped using it anyway, back about 4 or 5 years ago.
