Walt,

I'm not the same Steve, but from what I've heard, the NLS players are 
designed to be used with specially designed cartridges on which books will 
be loaded.  I  don't think the players will have anyfacility for downloading 
books, and I don't think you'll be able to transfer books onto the players 
directly.
