I have to replace my main hard drive. So long as I am ordering, I think
it's time to replace my on board audigee 2 sound card. It pops hisses
crackles and sometimes roars. I have been getting by with the onboard card.
What I want is a card that will not compress the sound of my music, allow me
to record from wave-mp3 input, mike, and annalog line in.
I don't have any 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound, and am not sure what it is
actually. I also use my screen readers and k1000 to read books through the
card.
Maybe I'd like to be able to use the card with the ts480 or tmv71, as well.
At least I wouldn't like to make another purchase to do these things.
I am running windows XP, with 2 GB of ram, and have 4.2 GHZ duel core
processor.
