Subject: still looking for echo link info

Hello;
For reasons unknown I seem to only be able to connect with stations ending
with -r. This obviously explains why I had difficulty connecting with the
handiham remote base. Unfortunately since I'm not an echo link devotee I
don't really know if the problem just came up or if it has been ongoing.
I made the rash presumption that since I was connecting to the test server
all was well.
Any ideas welcome
Richard
