Hi;
I used the stone mountain keypad about fifteen years ago or more with an
ic735 and was very happy with it. It ran from a 12 volt source in my case
the radio's power supply. I had the apparently incorrect idea that the John
Hansen qsyer was the same box under another name. What are the differences?
Also any ideas as to whether the ic7000 menu structure is similar to the
ic706?
Do you have any options other than the count and pray method to set pl
tones?
The radio apparently decodes and displays psk31. It would be nice if one
could make use of some of that hardware when connecting a computer for
speech.
Richard
