I have backup power to run my station quite a while, including a laptop, and
I have right now, 3 laptops here with decent batteries. By the time I'm
through all that I'm probably down to just an HT anyway, the big stuff is
probably down when you figure I can run the laptops off that battery if I
want to, I'm good for about 24 hours if I'm not careful, probably 48 hours+
if I am careful. After that, time to figure out something else to do or
leave. More than likely though if there was a situation like that, I'd be in
an EOC somewhere with generator power since I'm involved with the town and
state EMA.
