I have successfully used sprung paper clamps to hold the cooler and heat
sink firmly in place. The important thing is that the heat sink and cooler
fan unit is flat and firmly in contact with the CPU (with heat sink paste).
It is not so important how you achieve this.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Socket478
I've a Biostar Socket478 MoBo on which one of the hooks on the cooler
mounting frame is broken. Is this something that can be replaced, or, do I
need a new MoBo?
Thanks,
Tom Landon
