I once tried using a food processor to powder jerky for pemmican. It
did not work well. Since then I've used a Kitchenaid 5-speed blender.
You have to first break the jerky into 1" square pieces, and even
then some large chunks remain.
Keith Thomas recommended putting it through a meat grinder. This will
also require breaking into small pieces. I will try this next time. I
presume a plate with large holes.
Another alternative is using a Vitamix. They come with a blade for
wet foods, and one can buy another for dry foods. I have found both
that I can borrow and try.
