First, because this area has been under the plow since the 17th century, I mix a powdered high-mineral clay called Azomite into the soil of my garden to add nutritional value to the veggies.
Second, to make up for the longterm refined carb damage from childhood and youth, I take a multi called Glucobalance which is formulated for people with blood sugar issues.? Also a very high dose of Vitamin E (all the tocopherols and tocotrienols, not just the d-alpha that's in most E supplements) for certain premenstrual symptoms that are also, through a long chain of physiological effects, traceable to the refined carbs.
I have recently added evening primrose oil and cod liver oil.?

Subject: Supplementation for paleolithic eating
Greets all.
I would imagine most everyone here believes and endeavours to live by the
principle of food as medicine. However; I am wondering if anyone takes any
supplementation and may have any recommendations.
Due to the devitalisation of the soil I take a daily Solgar multivitamin, I
also take cod liver oil to try and even out the balance the n3/n6 and get my
EFAs [seems to be working]. I'm a young semi active male.
I was wondering if anyone takes anything more than this ; or could recommend
something / a brand. I remember reading on a low carb forum a while ago that
some of the regulars took some amino acids to supplement their diet and some
people swear be CoQ10, etc etc. Of course the supplement industry is full of
a lot of crap as well, which we must be wary of.
What are the thoughts of the community?
