Alert! Alert!  I just looked out my window and  what to my wondering eyes
should I see, BUT, a stout little man dressed in red, AND, you'll NEVER
guess----he was going over the house top in a SLEIGH pulled by REINDEER.
He was going very fast and he waved and shouted Ho! Ho! Ho! as he went by.
THEN, I saw the sleigh stop on the roof of the house next door and he got
out of the sleigh and disappeared down the CHIMNEY!  Soon he came back UP
the chimney, got in the sleigh and went to the next house.  Last I saw of
him he was headed northwest from southeastern Vermont, USA.  If you see him
give him some cookies and milk.

And NO, I'm not hallucinating, nor have I got into the Christmas eggnog.  Ruth
