Greetings:
Last week, my physician (ENT + cancer surgeon) advised me, that I need a
total thyroidectomy, in order to remove a papillary carcinoma in my
thyroid. I am a 70 year old male patient, in good health conditions-
beside the carcinoma. The episode, it all started with a hoarness
condition due to a vocal cord (left side) paralysis.
Will appreciate very much, receiving from listers (which had this
surgery in the past) an overview (brief orientation) of what consist the
surgery procedure ( the experience before and after the surgery). Plus,
any additional comments (like web sites links) that you may provide me
are welcome.
Many thanks in advance.
