I read somewhere that you can claim expenses for the GF-food purchases on your taxes; as well as the gas money/mileage it takes to get to and from the grocery store. From my understanding the amount you can claim is the difference in the cost from the GF-food to it's gluten-filled counterpart.
I've saved my receipts from last year and was wondering has anyone claimed their GF purchases on their taxes and is it really worth the hassle of figuring it all out?
thank you
Michelle
