Hmmm, you're responding as if I was seeking a solution. I'm not. I see no need to use protein powders (or protein bars or whatever), so I don't "miss" them. As I posted. I don't experience the symptoms with the "real" protein powder counterparts (well... there are some specific foods I have to avoid, but that's a different subject), so I eat those instead.

As related, I've tried all of those - even the ones proclaiming themselves "gas free". I just don't do well with them.

Why are you making the assumption I have a "disorder"? Just because I don't do well with overprocessed, powdered food? I do fine with the real thing, so where lies the disorder? 

I can pedal a bicycle up and down hills all day long. Same with hiking with a heavy pack on my back. But, I can't run long distances. So, I guess I must have some sort of "running disorder"?

And at what point did I suggest that everyone will have the same problem? I related this as *my* problem.
