 You must try everything to try to bridge that gap

Failing that

 It is the best gut feeling of your parents re your sisters final
wishes..........

I know what my parents (the guardians of my sister) want. We finally had a
short talk about it (really hard to talk about). But I wonder how to ask my
sister. They say she has developmental delay, but she seems to understand
much more than she communicates.
