Hi,
I like the new Betty Crocker gluten free mixes, but really don't like cooking with all that butter. I often substitute oil in mixes, but the white cake came out kind of flat with oil. The cookies aren't bad with half oil, half butter--although they are really good with the butter specified in the mix. Anyone used oil or applesauce successfully? I usually don't use a lot of dairy. Any other suggestions? Will summarize.
