I think the Asus keyboards are pretty nice. I have an 11 inch laptop
from Asus, so it's pretty thin and the screen is pretty small, but the
keyboard is nice to work on. I took a look at the Asus convertible,
which has a keyboard pretty similar to my laptop, and is pretty nice,
IMHO, for a convertible. It's only $400, but it's running the Atom
processor and 2G of memory. I'd worry a bit about the performance,
especially if you'll be running JAWS. I'd consider the Asus convertible
to be a good netbook replacement, which you could also use as a tablet.
I don't think this is what you're looking for though.

The Lenovo Yoga also has a pretty nice keyboard, if you're looking for a
system that can double between a clamshell ultrabook and a tablet. It's
the machine I fell in love with when I was looking for Windows 8
tablet/laptop convertibles over the holidays.

I'd recommend at least 4G of memory for JAWS. The more the better,
especially if you'll be running memory intense applications, like VMware.
