AFB Technology Policy Teleseminar:
Responding to the National Broadband Plan and the Proposed 508 Rules

With the release this Spring by the Federal Communications Commission
(FCC) of its comprehensive National Broadband Plan and the publication
by the U.S. Access Board of an invitation for the public to comment on
the pending refresh of the federal government's technology accessibility
obligations, advocates have opportunities to affect real change.

On Thursday afternoon, May 27, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm Eastern, join the
Public Policy staff of the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) and
expert guest presenters to learn more about what these two important
opportunities to improve technology accessibility for people with vision
loss offer, what they are intended to achieve, and how you can respond
most effectively to them. Presenters will include:
