Hi Rachel,
What used to be "Normal" view in Word 2003 and earlier, is called
"Draft" in Word 2007.
Unfortunately I've not been able to find any way as yet to set Draft
View as the default when running Word. However, I will ask around as
it's a pain for me too.
George.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Word 2007 Normal View?
Hi, everyone.
Word 2007 seems to default to Print Layout View, but I don't like this
because it seems to present two pages on the screen at once. I want
to
make Word default to what was Normal View in Word 2003. I've changed
my
view to Outline and thought that did it, but I don't think it did. I
want one page presented at a time, and I want to make that setting the
default. Which View do I change Word to, and how do I make that view
the default? Are there any other changes that need to be made, too?
Thanks for any help any of you can provide.
Rachel
