Ron,

I know Outlook will run an archive utility and move messages to the archive
file. If you are using Outlook then you can check this by going to the file
menu and open and Outlook data file called archive.pst. Archive will then
appear in your file tree view and there should be an inbox under that
branch.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [VICUG-L] lost e-mail

Hi,

I am using XP home and JAWS 8. Recently, I had oe compress my e-mail. I also

defragged my hard disk.

Today, I noticed at least three months of e-mail gone from my inbox. Is
there anyway to recover them?

Thanks for any help.

Ron
