Ok Ray, this is the best I can do for you.
They are calling themselves AVG Technologies now. They use to be Grifsoft.
Here is their street address
AVG Technologies USA Inc.
1901 Summit Tower Blvd., Suite 350
Orlando, FL 32810
USA
Sales Support
Tech Support
There was no phone number listed on this page. As you see they have a sales
support link that gets you to a web based email service.
The link to the secure webpage for ordering the product is:
https://sshop.element5.com/esales/checkout.html?PRODUCT[300198975]=1¤cies=USD&languageid=1&js=-1
The above address and support link is on the same page. The above link is as
secure as they come. The https indicates it is a secure site along with the
closed pad lock.
I would be interested in knowing what site was visited when the identity
theft issue happened.
Sorry to hear abut the identity thrft issue with the nephew.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Questions about Renewing and Upgrading AVG 7.5 Paid
Edition
Hello All:
I have a client that is using the paid version of AVG 7.5. Recently,
he's been told that his license is expired and needs to be renewed.
I have two questions. My client is a bit uncomfortable purchasing
things on-line with a credit card; his nephew recently had his identity
stolen after visiting a certain on-line site. So, is there a phone
number he could call in on to renew his license?
Next question. Once he renews, what is the procedure to upgrade the
paid version? All he sees are trial versions for download when going on
the web to www.avg.com.
Thanks,
