Hello All:
I've got a Windows Media Player 11 question, or I believe it is a Media
Player question. I received a call from someone who is running Windows
Media Player 11 and when he plays DVDs, he can see what is on the screen
but he hears no sound.
We first thought there was something wrong with his DVD Drive, so we
uninstalled the device and let Windows re-install it. This did not fix
the problem. Then, I had him bring up Media Player and we took a look
under the DVD tab of the tools->options menu and couldn't find anything
there. Finally, under this same menu, we took a look at file types tab
and made sure he clicked Select All so all files would play with Media
Player. Still, he hears no sound when playing the DVD.
Does anyone have any other ideas what we can try? This gentleman is
running Windows XP, ZoomText and as I said, Windows Media Player 11.
Thanks,
